Sheila L. Banks worked as a social worker for over thirty years. Although she had considered herself to be a commited atheist, she had a spiritual awakening in 1997. This event, actually a mystical union, compelled her to study a far-reaching collection of books related to both Eastern and Western theology.
Since her spiritual transformation, she has had what might be described as creative power surges. During these episodes she has ventured to put pen to paper. Her contemplations have resulted in a collection of poems and essays that speak to the paradigm shift required for the continuation and ascent of humankind. She has been blogging for over five years.
